Glorious Food!
Surely everyone's heard of the phrase 'eat to live' right? Well I dont believe in that one, instead, I 'Live to Eat' as how most chinese people would say so for themselves. A friend of mine told me it's because i have chinese blood in me, but still that does not explain how my passion for great delicacies works. I love cooking and baking, especially for people I care for, like my family and close friends. Those cupcakes, I made them for my mother's birthday.
So far, mum had taught me how to make rendang and Nasi Briyani for Hari Raya and it was really fun to make them for my family. The best part of all is to watch their reactions when they tried my cooking. Brothers would always make fun of my dishes, but they are the ones who ate the most!
Despite being raised in Malay's customs and recipes, I prefer making Italian dishes than the locals. Mum told me that my pastas are better than my curry, probably I have some Italian blood in me that i know not of. That is, only in terms of cooking, but if you ask me if I had a favourite food, I would not know how to answer you.
